Locks of LOVE

I believe that some of the greatest miracles in life are the minor details that too often are passed by. While walking around Italy I have discovered a beautful minor detail, that makes me smile quite frequently. If you walk around Europe and pay attention you will begin to notice locks, just normal locks sporadically placed. There are large clusters of these locks in different areas of the cities. Most people
think oh,how strange and think nothing of it, but they are the locks that represent the beginning of a new life, a promise to another human being...to be locked to them for life. When couples in Europe get engaged they will put a lock at the location where the question was popped. Isn't that a lovely tradition? I think so. What is most beautiful,is that when couples get engaged in the same spot,clusters form as mentioned previously. So they become these webs of locks. One love story built upon another. When I see them it reminds me of the hopeful side of life and how joyful some moments in life can be. It always brightens my day,so I have begun photographing these locks so I can remember them clearly forever. I will post more love lock pictures in the future because I love taking them!
