Austria my darling, I am sad to say goodbye, but Paris calls and I must answer. I already gave my word, but my heart will linger here for some time! You are too beautiful, too good from the inside out to forget quickly. I hope that we can meet again one day...if even in a dream ;~)
So as you can tell from the beginning of this blog, I have truly enjoyed my time in Vienna. I wish we weren't already leaving, but we head out for Paris tomorrow night already! I can't even believe we are this far into the trip! Before I know it I will be on my British Airways flight headed back to the Valley of the Sun. Time flies when your having fun, or just plain staying busy!
Today has been my favorite day in Vienna. I slept in, despite having many unpleasant and disappointing things on my mind when I laid my head down to sleep. I woke up, enjoyed the amazing continental breakfast here, and then me and Cait headed out for a day out in the city.
We went to the Modern Art Museum as well as the Natural History Museum. I saw lots of Rocks, fish, and bones today. More than I thought I would in my lifetime, but I found it quite interesting. However, I also realized how squeamish I can be. Cait called me a girl...but hey, a fish without an eye, and plenty of taxidermy animals, you can't blame me can you?
We got back, and I did laundry, which was hard since I could not read any of the instructions on the machine, but my clothes are all clean now, so mission accomplished! :~)
I think I waited till too late at night to update my blog. hehe. Sorry it's not very thorough but I figured a little was better than nothing. I better go pack so I can head out to Paris tomorrow! Night!
Love you all!
I like the part about not being able to read the instructions. I'm assuming it was in a different language. If it was, I TOTALLY know how you feel. I have to deal w/ Arabic every day so I'm one of the awkward American tourists most of the time. lol. But hey, that's the best part about traveling to another country! HaHa.
