i really don't like wet laundry

isn't the purpose of a dryer that wet clothes are put in and then taken out warm and dry? I thought so, but the dryers in my dorm have not been cooperating very well today...I was planning on getting a lot more done this afternoon than just laundry, but hey, it has to be done. Don't misunderstand me though, I love laundry. I love the smell, the warmth, the folding process and the idea of having a new clean start. It's the small things in life that give me pleasure, yes I acknowledge this is a strange chore to enjoy, but hey whatever floats my boat, right? One day I would love to have a laundry room like this...


In the meantime, school is on fast forward. Books are flying, students are stressing, and finals are looming over all our heads. But soon, yes, very soon in fact, school will be over and summer will be here! I can hardly wait, but I just can't believe that once summer has gone my senior year will be here! It will be very strange watching close friends graduate this year, and knowing that in just one year it will be me! I am so excited to have a college degree...it's a privilege I won't take for granted. I know that so many people don't have the chance to complete school, and my heart aches for them.

Today is my four month anniversary with Jake, I can't even believe it's been that long, and it's been a year May 1st that I first met him. Oh how time flies when you're young and having fun ;~) I'll catch up with you all sooner rather than later, hope you are having a lovely Saturday afternoon!
