Ever had a day take you completely and utterly by surprise? I have had a few of those lately...and they have been a lot more rainy than sunshiney. I'm trying to change that. God created me to love Him and be dependent on him, so I am going to do just that. I can't handle the sorrow-filled moments of life, I'm not strong enough, but with God I believe those moments can be opportunities to gain strength and wisdom to be a better servant for His kingdom. I want to spread love, and encouragement, and joy, not sadness and angst. This is my prayer. Through Him all things are possible, and He is my light in the dark, so though I may not be seeing clearly now, in good time I will be. Fog always burns off in the heat of the sun. What a blessing is His promise of unconditional love! He will keep my heart warm when the season of life brings cold, frigid air into my path.
Thanks be to God, may I find rest in his embrace.
